New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking proposals from qualified providers to deliver comprehensive bulk printing and mailing services to support a wide range of council communications and operational needs. The council’s print and mail requirements are diverse and vary depending on the nature and scope of individual projects. These services are critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery of printed materials to residents, stakeholders, and internal departments.
The scope of services includes, but is not limited to:
• Bulk Mail Services: Print, fold, and post large volumes of mail, including bills and notices. This may include mailings with and without inserts, requiring flexibility in handling variable content and formats.
• Ad Hoc Booklets: On-demand printing, folding, and delivery of booklets for specific projects or community engagement initiatives.
• Brochures: Production and distribution of brochures for public information campaigns, events, and service updates.
• Corporate Branded Items: Supply and printing of branded stationery such as envelopes (DLW window and MaxPop formats) with return address details, aligned with Council’s branding guidelines.
In addition to physical printing and postal delivery, the Council recognises the importance of digital communication channels in reaching our community effectively. Some of the Council’s printed materials may be distributed via email, either as an alternative to physical mail or in conjunction with the mailing of printed materials.
