Calling all local contractors who wish to help build the next exciting phase of the Coastal Walkway!
Come meet the team, hear about the project and register your interest to be involved. We are looking for local people who want to be part of a unique project that will benefit our community for generations to come.
To be held at Whai Tapuwae Nō Rongo/North Taranaki Sport and Recreation Centre, 17 Princess Street, Waitara at 5pm on Tuesday 3 October.
The project will require a range of contractors during construction, covering:
• Earthworks.
• Tree work.
• Drainage.
• Pavement and surfacing (various materials, including asphalt and shells).
• Concreting, fencing, lighting and artwork application.
• Amenities (including drinking fountains, toilets and precast concrete installation).
• Soft and hard landscaping.
• Raised timber walkways.
• Bridges (earthworks, decking, steel superstructure and concrete).
• Traffic services (signs, marking and construction).
• Service relocation (power, water, stormwater, wastewater and gas).
Small and medium-sized local suppliers are encouraged to attend.
