The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is committed to supporting young people to thrive, participate in employment and education and achieve positive life outcomes, with awareness of the support and influence of their whānau and wider communities. A key part of this is providing targeted and culturally responsive wraparound support for rangatahi who are currently facing multi-faceted barriers to employment, education and training.
MSD is advertising this Request for Proposal (RFP) to commission He Poutama Rangatahi (HPR) programme services across Aotearoa. HPR funds community-based providers to support young people aged 15-24 years who are NEET (not in employment, education or training) with complex barriers to build pathways into sustainable employment, education or training. HPR services are designed to be flexible and responsive to the unique needs of each rangatahi.
This opportunity is advertised on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) and MSD Purchasing and Finance System (called Weka).
