Overview

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is exploring options for an eLearning solution that recognises the importance of integrating Te Ao Māori within the organisation. Note: This RFI is not a request for formal proposals.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of some high-level aspects we would be interested in:

• Te reo Māori
• Tikanga Māori
• Early arrival of Māori
• Arrival of settlers and interaction with Māori
• Whakapapa (of Māori)
• Whakapapa and identity (of non-Māori, settlers, foreigners arriving)
• He Whakapūtanga 1835 signing
• Te Tiriti of Waitangi
• Life after signing
• Current events and environment/consequences from the history.

The information gathered will inform our knowledge and understanding of the market, capabilities, and commercial arrangements available.
