The Ministry currently funds six Kaupapa Māori specialist sexual violence providers to support and expand the sector’s capacity and reach. MSD is seeking to engage an experienced Kaupapa Māori research supplier to undertake a detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of Aotearoa New Zealand’s Kaupapa Māori sexual violence (KMSV) sector.

The work delivered by the successful supplier will provide an essential baseline understanding of the KMSV sector, the ways in which these specialist organisations meet the needs of individuals and whānau across the country, and the challenges they face at the frontline of their work.
