This RFP is a secondary process under the MBIE syndicated external legal services panel.

The objectives of this procurement are to increase the capacity and improve capability of Corporate Legal team and key client groups. This will be done by:
• Ensuring our business stakeholders have access to a dedicated resource to provide high quality legal advice and services as required, particularly in relation to specific projects (including Te Pae Tawhiti).
• Supporting the team to design and implement a programme to increase the capability of the Corporate Legal team, key clients (such as procurement advisors, privacy advisors and contract managers) and other MSD Legal staff across the range of legal areas. As well as providing ad hoc training when required.
• Providing the Corporate Legal team with a pool of external resources which it can utilise to service business as usual legal advice and services as requested by the team.
