Driver Licence Programme - Auckland 2021

What we need - MSD is seeking proposals from Providers to undertake the delivery of a driver licence programme to support MSD clients, youth and people identified in communities to achieve their driver licence.

What we don’t want - MSD is not seeking:
• Proposals for programme that do not meet the service delivery requirements specified in this Request for Proposal document
• Proposals for programme that teach people how to drive, for people with no or limited driving experience
• Proposals for programme outside the Auckland Region.

What’s important to us
Providers will have proven experience in delivering driver licence programmes or can show they have the capability and capacity to deliver a successful driver licence programme. Successful Providers will be able to show they have a good understanding of what support people need to gain their learner driver licence or progress to the next stage of their licence.
MSD is seeking local Providers who can deliver a driver licence programme that will help participants achieve their learner or progress to the next stage of their driver licence. Providers will have strong well-established relationships with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency driver licensing agents and an ability to facilitate driver licence outcomes for participants. The driver licence programmes will build upon the commitment of MSD Auckland Region to support drivers to gain a learner licence or move the next stage of their licence, increase road safety awareness, and improve their economic independence and social wellbeing.
