The Ministry of Social Development helps New Zealanders to be safe, strong and independent. Many New Zealanders are trapped in a cycle of benefit dependence because of intersecting factors that impede or prevent sustainable participation in the workforce. The Ministry is seeking to appoint a provider that will deliver a programme that can help MSD clients to develop their business skills. The programme will be targeting clients nationwide.
This procurement relates to the delivery of a programme designed to support MSD clients who are seeking opportunities in self-employment.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting our clients in communities to help them develop and nurture their business ideas. The successful provider will be given a 12 month contract with a right of renewal over two years subject to programme performance.
