MSD are seeking 10 te ao Māori leaders in the sexual violence sector and kaitiaki of mātauranga to wānanga whānau-centred solutions for sexual violence.
The wānanga will be guided by experienced Kaupapa Māori facilitators from the sector to lead the design phase of the work programme.
Once this phase is complete, MSD hopes to understand how to better commission whānau-centred solution(s) for sexual violence.
MSD is a committed partner to the Government’s Joint Venture on family violence and sexual violence and, while this work programme is occurring, will work with the right Government agencies to support the solutions being designed and better coordinate access to the appropriate support for whānau.
