The Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) is seeking to procure employment support services for disabled people, and people with a health condition. Services include pre-employment assistance to ascertain the client’s employment preferences and readiness for employment, identifying employment opportunities, employment placement, employment support for the first 12 months of employment, and time-limited in-work support for people who require assistance for career development or work-place issues.
The Ministry is looking for providers who have the capability, experience and infrastructure to support people with a disability or health condition to gain sustainable employment and move closer to financial independence. This will be achieved through the provision of employment related case management, placement into open employment, and any required post-placement support aligned with the client’s desired job aspirations.
