As part of the Government’s response to He Ara Oranga (Report of the Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction), we are seeking to support the achievement of ‘mental health and wellbeing for all New Zealanders’ by providing people with greater access to mental health and wellbeing support and increased choice of tools, including Digital Mental Wellbeing Tools.
We are seeking to do this by contributing funding (up to $900k per annum) for up to two years to support existing (or soon to be launched) Digital Mental Wellbeing Tools to further develop, grow and increase their reach to New Zealanders.
As part of its desire to increase access to, and choice of, Digital Wellbeing Tools the Government is seeking to contribute funding towards Digital Wellbeing Tools, and is doing this by funding Tools specific to two aged-based demographics: 1. Adults aged 19 years or older; and 2. Young people aged 12 to 18 years
This ROI relates to Digital Wellbeing Tools for Adults.
A separate ROI has been released on the Government Electronic Tender Services (GETS) for a Digital Mental Wellbeing Tools for Young People (GETS reference # 24200519). Respondents may respond to that ROI by completing the required Response Form and submitting it via that specific opportunity on GETS.
This ROI closes on Wednesday 5 May at 12-noon.
