This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to suitably qualified Respondents to submit a Proposal for delivering short term residential intensive crisis respite and transitional services for Children/Young people in crisis and displaying severely challenging behaviour.
These services will form part of a crisis response pathway in the Auckland Region1 for Children/Young people who have a complex mix of disability support, mental health, education and social support needs.
The objective is to provide a safe home like environment and appropriate supports to enable the child/young person to reduce their level of distress and remain safe, whilst a cross-agency planning process is undertaken in order to develop a plan for ongoing support for the child/young person and their family/whānau.
This RFP is an open competitive tender process. It is a single step procurement process.
