The Ministry of Health is planning to relocate all of its Wellington based staff, currently accommodated at 1-3 The Terrace and 20 Aitken Street, into a re-developed building at 133 Molesworth Street. The date of occupation of this building is roughly estimated to be November-December 2016.
133 Molesworth Street will have capacity to accommodate a maximum of 1200 staff.
When the Ministry previously occupied 133 Molesworth Street, a commercial café was located in the building. The Ministry is exploring options to include a commercial café operation into the design, allowing a commercial café operator to run its business on the Ministry’s premises.
