Torque IP, acting on behalf of Ormiston School, is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from prime system and network integrators for the provision, installation and ongoing support of ICT infrastructure at Ormiston School. The term ICT Infrastructure can be broadly defined as Servers (onsite and hosted), Switching, Wireless LAN, Network Security/Firewall, Backups and UPS.
Ormiston School is a new primary school situated in the newly built sub-division of Flat Bush, Auckland. Stage one of the school will open in February 2015 and will cater for up to 375 students.
Torque IP’s role for the school is to procure the new hardware and services required to provision a Modern Learning Environment at the new site. As part of this process, Torque IP will be releasing a Server and Network Procurement and ICT Support Services Request for Proposal (RFP) in November 2014, with integration work to begin December 2015.
Organisations wishing to be considered as potential suppliers and integrators for this RFP are required to register their interest via the channels identified. All requests should include evidence that they are suitably qualified, experienced and have the expertise necessary to deliver the service including, but not limited to:
1. A statement of organisational objectives and legal status.
2. An outline of organisational structure, size and geographic coverage for the Auckland region.
3. An outline of your organisation’s background and experiences in delivering the services required, particularly in the Auckland region.
4. Demonstrated experience as a systems integrator including qualifications and certifications in your relevant products and solutions for a full ICT solution.
5. An overview of the preferred products/vendors in the technology categories detailed.
6. Capability and capacity to act as a prime integrator and project manager for the provision and installation of a “turnkey” solution to the end user (School).
7. A minimum of three New Zealand reference sites with preference given to educational institutions.

At the close of the ROI period all requests will be evaluated against the criteria identified and five integrators will be shortlisted to receive the full tender package upon its release in November 2014.
