This notice is an Invitation to Qualify for the Ministry of Education’s Approved ICT Contractors List. This Ministry has set up and manages this pre-qualified supplier list in accordance with the Government Rules of Sourcing Rule 53.
The Ministry requires all ICT work in schools involving structured cabling installation and wireless integration to be undertaken by pre-qualified suppliers who are on the Ministry’s Approved ICT Contractors List. The current version of the existing list and list management policy is published on the Ministry’s website at http://www.minedu.govt.nz/ICTcontractors.
Three application forms are attached to this Invitation to Qualify. Each application form also contains a clear description of the specific goods, services, or works applicants must be capable of delivering. The three forms are for each of the following categories of ICT suppliers:
- Structured cabling installers
- Wireless integrators
- Cabling product suppliers.
A supplier must accepted on the list in the appropriate category before being engaged for that category of ICT work in a school.
A supplier may apply for list membership at any time subject to the list management policy and procedures. The application requirements, supplier requirements, evaluation criteria, and process are detailed in the attached policy and procedures.
