Overview
The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) is inviting Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Main Contractor level construction companies for a project which involves the weathertightness remediation of a multipurpose building at a school located in Ashburton.
The multipurpose building is a high single storey building and comprises circa 450m² of accommodation. The building is formed using a combination of steel portals and light timber frame construction founded upon concrete slab foundation. The roofs are predominantly covered with profiled metal roof sheets that discharge to external metal box gutters. A low pitched membrane roof covers the highest section of the roof.
