Overview

The Ministry is seeking to provide online Maths Resources to Year 9 and 10 students and teachers from Term One 2026 as a supplementary support to implement the revised Years 9 to 13 Maths and Statistics learning areas. However, as noted below in our criteria, the materials need to cover the range of 7-10 because students will not all be at Year 9 and Year 10 levels.. Their product therefore needs to make provision for this to allow us to onboard the children that are not yet at the expected level.

Multiple releases of material for teachers and students with content that matches the revised learning area is needed to be available ahead of the start of the next school year. Content will support effective pedagogy, formative assessment and aligned to the New Zealand Curriculum.

The RFP invites suppliers to demonstrate how they will meet the pre-conditions and the 18 criteria outlined in the RFP.

Responses sought will be paper based in the first instance, with suppliers that meet the pre-conditions being invited to present for 75 minutes to demonstrate their solution.
