The Ministry of Education Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga is looking for credible providers who have the have the capability, experience, capacity, and infrastructure to deliver learning experiences that will enrich the curriculum in their communities and areas. Providers will deliver their programmes to support the achievement of broader curriculum outcomes.

Enriching Local Curriculum (ELC) experiences are authentic, hands-on, and interactive, building on broad curriculum learning. Providers of early learning services & schools & kura work in collaboration to ensure that programmes meet the learning needs of ākonga in early learning services (0-6 years of age), state and integrated schools and kura and registered private schools in years 1-13. The Ministry is seeking to procure Enriching Local Curriculum (ELC) experiences that complement, enhance, and align with Te Whāriki and the New Zealand Curriculum and/or Te Marautanga o Aotearoa.
