Overview
The Ministry of Education is seeking proposals from suppliers with the ability to deliver an effective programme for the retention of beginning teachers in Māori medium education, where a teacher teaches in Te Reo Māori for between 51% and 100% of classroom time.
These services will support and guide Māori medium beginning teachers through adequate, accessible, culturally relevant mentoring and coaching from provisional certification through to full teacher certification, and beyond.
