The Ministry of Education (MOE) wish to receive proposals from community partners, iwi, employers, industry groups, the ITO sector, vocational education providers, and other organisations / agencies that wish to run one or more events that bring together young people, their families and whānau with employers and industries.
Community partners, employers, industry groups, the ITO sector, vocational education providers, and other agencies will organise and run one or more events, between 1 January 2020 and 30 June 2021, which showcase vocational careers and pathways.
In total we will support up to 140 additional speed meets type events (similar to Got a Trade? Got it Made!) along with careers expos. These events will be focused on a range of strategically important sectors including construction and infrastructure, primary industries, engineering (including automotive), social and community services, tourism, retail and hospitality, and the technology and creative sectors.
