Overview
Are you a story teller from your local community? This is your opportunity to have your local stories taught in classrooms across the country and have your tamariki engaged in learning who they identify with.
We’re looking for stories to form new resources for learners aged 0-18 years. These will be used across Communities of Learning|Kahui Ako, early learning (kohanga, puna reo and ECE centres etc), primary and secondary school including te reo Maori classes, immersion/rumaki units, kura and wharekura.
We are seeking local stories to be made into teaching and learning resources. The content must align to one or more of our current priorities:
- Maori History
- First Encounters 250
- Women’s Suffrage.
