The Ministry is seeking to support Communities of Learning (CoL|Kāhui Ako ) and schools/kura to improve their capabilities to understand, track and respond to student progress and achievement against The New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa (TMoA).
As part of this work we need to increase the number of CoL| Kāhui Ako and eligible schools/kura signed up to the PaCT and TWA and actively/effectively using the tool to support their teaching and learning. We are looking for a flexible and innovative approach that could include facilitator support and in school mentor support (sector driving the sector) to meet increasing sector interest for the progress tools.
We need nationwide coverage for this support. This could come from a single or a number of providers. We will consider proposals that only offer regional coverage; the Ministry would need to join these up with other providers to ensure adequate provision of support is available. Providers will need to be able to deliver in both English and Māori medium settings.
