The Ministry of Education (the Ministry (the Buyer)) is seeking School Facility Compliance Management and Information Collection Services.

The current commercial agreement (Compliance Schedule Management & Fire Services Protection Services) expires in September 2016 and this has offered the MoE an opportunity to:
- take a fresh look at its asset information and associated service needs; and
- consider how Ministry can make further use of its commercial arrangement to fulfil additional asset information and risk area management needs ; and
- develop appropriate solutions.
The Ministry considered how it can effectively and efficiently gather, manage and improve a range of school infrastructure information sets to ensure compliance and to support improved asset management. The information sets potentially include, but are not limited to:
- Building Warrants of Fitness (BWOF)
- Boiler health (NZ Standard)
- Asset Verification
- Asset condition & useful lives
- Asset suitability (including Flexible Learning Spaces (FLS))
- Asbestos, hazards and other Health & Safety Legislation Requirements
- Data quality validation.
