Overview

This contract is for the design and construction to complete the work required to be able to use the Reservoir as part of the Water network. The work includes the installation of a pump that will be supplied, construction of a shed, connection of the in and outlets to the water network, valves in network to support the increase of pressure within the network.

Turners Road Reservoir has been constructed to improve pressure in the Feilding water network and to assist with compliance requirements associated with fire engineering demand. Council now seeks a single contractor to complete the remaining works needed to place the reservoir into operation.

The current project intent is to complete the short-term operational connection as soon as practicable. The long-term Turners Road connection is not part of this contract, but the design must make reasonable allowance for that future arrangement.
