Overview
The RFI is about the Communications, Navigation, Surveillance and Air traffic Management Sustainment of the NZDF fixed wing fleet. It covers upgrading of the Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Mode 4 system to Mode 5 including the introduction of Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) functionality to the B757-2K2, C-130H(NZ) AND P-3K2 fleets, as well as upgrading the B752-2K2 commercial SATCOM system from SWIFT 64 to Swift Broadband functionality.
