Overview
The crown seeks to lease a fleet of King Air aircraft for seven years, starting September 2017. The new lease will provide the capability to deliver multi-engine pilot training, consolidation flying, short-range transport (including VIP tasks), and will enable Air Warfare Officers to e trained. The Crown may also further expand the capability to include a sensor suite and avionics procedural trainer. A sensor suite will potentially enable Air Warfare Specialist training and/or short range Maritime patrol. The requirements for these expanded capabilities are outside of the key deliverables and will be treated as Costed Options within the Tender.
