The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), through New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP), is seeking information from providers that offer travel management services.
Currently NZGP has an All-of-Government (AoG) contract - Travel Management Services, which is due to expire in June 2028. The current AoG Travel Management Services arrangement provides government agencies with access to travel management providers for booking and managing business travel throughout New Zealand and internationally. As the travel industry continues to evolve, customer expectations, technology capabilities, reporting requirements, traveller wellbeing considerations, sustainability objectives, and value-for-money expectations are also changing.
We would like to understand how the market is performing and how it may have changed throughout the term of the existing contract. The current contract was established in 2019, and we know that there has been a lot of change in the industry from then until now.
We are looking for responses from current panel providers, and also providers not currently on the panel. The response form has been designed to capture information that will be useful in planning our return to market. Please ensure you read this in full and follow all instructions.
This is not a tendering opportunity and no contract will be awarded from this process.
