The purpose of this opportunity is to request proposals from the suppliers under the All of Government (AOG) Travel Management Services (TMS) panel.
The aim of this RFP is to select a travel management services supplier that meets the Ministry’s travel requirements. Further information is attached.
The Ministry wishes to source a single supplier that will provide TMS that will enable the Ministry’s staff to:
• travel where required to deliver organisational objectives whilst complying with the Ministry’s Travel Policy and Procedures
• maintain good travel practice and consistency across the Ministry through adherence to policy and procedures and timely and accurate travel management services.
• travel safely and securely while conducting travel
The successful supplier will provide:
• Online, consultant-assisted and offline travel bookings.
• Ticketing and invoicing of accommodation, land (such as car, rail, bus) and air travel.
• Account management.
• Reporting.
• Group bookings.
• Travel policy management, advice, and compliance.
• Additional travel related services (such as foreign exchange provision).
In addition, the Ministry requires specialised travel management services that are not related to staff business travel, such as:
a. management of refused entry and deportation flight bookings
b. police escort travel management
c. domestic refugee flights and travel management

Following a secondary tender process, The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) of 15 Stout Street, Wellington, is pleased to confirm that Orbit Travel Wellington were successful to supply Travel Management Services. The agreement was signed on 20/10/2025 for a term of 5+1+1 the estimated amount was $2,959,751 (excluding GST)
