MBIE are looking to develop a list of critical minerals for New Zealand to enable us secure better access to those minerals and reduce their vulnerability to supply chain disruptions. It is expected that the respondents will be focused on the minerals market and have bespoke technical and economics expertise to develop a list of critical minerals for New Zealand.

A formal RFP will follow towards the middle of March '24.
This is to provide you with as much notice as possible, given the RFP response timeframes we will be working to.
