New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) are embarking on the first steps of transformation of procurement practice across the Public Sector. The NZGP strategy is to position procurement for the future to deliver better outcomes for New Zealand. Digital platforms and services are key to enabling the pillars of the strategy which are articulated as working together as one, providing data transparency that unlocks policy value and change.
We already know that there are numerous vendors that offer some of the key components and functionality, but we do not know how much is being used in live production environments, and if so, where and for how long, what approach is used to add features and functionality to their platform, and how their licensing/subscription model works.
We want to know what products/technology you (as a potential vendor) would use to deliver a Source to Contract system to meet the high-level features we describe in our RFI documents, including why you believe this product/technology is suitable and what benefits it would provide to NZGP, also how to deliver a licensing model that offers good public value and minimises the cost to change for NZGP, agencies and suppliers.
