Overview

This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be seeking responses for the next initiative within the Small Business Digital Boost programme – Digital Boost Navigator.

We will be looking for an integrated and innovative solution that leverages credible data and analytics to deliver personalised, prioritised and prescribed user journeys that enable small business owners to complete different components of a Digital Action Plan that are relevant to their business priorities. Against different topics, it’s expected that relevant diagnostics will provide business owners with assessments of their business’ current digital capability and then provide personalised recommendations that will enable them to make informed decisions about the next, most relevant, actionable steps they should take in their business’ digital transformation journey.

We anticipate that the solution will leverage existing and successful digital capability building tools in the marketplace, rather than (necessarily) being developed from scratch. The solution we are seeking should have the capability to seamlessly connect to and integrate with third party tools and features, without multiple logins.

The solution will also be expected to connect to and interface with the other parts of the Digital Boost programme – most specifically the Digital Boost Skills Training and Support platform, as well as some existing assets on the business.govt.nz platform – to ensure a seamless user experience for small business owners. The Digital Boost Skills Training and Support platform currently sits on Salesforce as the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. We expect this to continue and to be leveraged as the Single Sign On for the Navigator solution . This will be facilitated by MBIE and our current Digital Boost Skills Training partner.

We will be looking for a Respondent or a Consortium under a single contract, who is innovative, knowledgeable, connected and can deliver a high-quality Digital Navigator solution.

We are finalising documents and gaining formal approval to release this RFP.
