Overview

The opportunity

The Government Property Group, together with interested government agencies, intends to formally engage with the market in order to identify new or existing commercial office accommodation in Palmerston North.
We would like to understand opportunities which may meet the following needs:
• 3,000m² to 12,500m² of suitable office space, options could include, but are not limited to:
o Combined agency tenancy building requirement up to net 12,500m²
o Agency single building requirement of net 5,000m² to 6,000m²
o Ground floor retail space for up to three agencies that could be configured to allow for customer facing front of house services.
• Accommodation solutions that allow for tenant occupation from June 2023 and no later than August 2024; and
• Located within a 2km radius of the Palmerston North city centre.

Further information will be provided in an Invitation to Participate (ITP) which we expect will be issued via the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) mid to late March 2020. The ITP will set out the requirements of the potential tenants.
This project is part of the Government Office Accommodation Regional Programme.
