Standards New Zealand is seeking entrepreneurial partners to help us “break the book” when delivering New Zealand standards content to users. We are looking for third parties who can see potential for offering standards content to customers in innovative new ways that provide greater benefits for customers and end users, thereby making standards content more useful and increasing traction for standards throughout New Zealand. This is what we call our “Value Add Programme” (VAP)
The VAP is designed to make the development of digital tools from standards content straightforward and inexpensive. Entrepreneurs receive fee-free copies of one or more standards to develop their digital tool. The product of that tool can then be sold under a revenue-sharing arrangement. We offer a low-cost supportive path through the copyright system to help entrepreneurs manage their ideas into commercial viability
