The New Zealand Government Procurement and Property (NZGPP) branch within the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) are looking to improve the standard and consistency of contracts generated from the Government Model Contract (GMC) templates through the use of an automated contract builder. In addition there are some other key documents that we believe are ripe for automation such as RFx templates, social services outcome agreements, All-of-Government (AoG) Statements of Work and Service Orders.

While we recognise that there are a number of tools available in the market for document automation, we believe we require a technical solution coupled with compatible legal knowledge. In addition we need to consider a licensing structure that will work for our diverse customer base.
