The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) is seeking information on potential options for developing an innovative, interactive and engaging online Cross-Government Cultural Competency Capability Development Programme (“the Programme”).
The overall (long term) goals of the Programme are:
strengthen public sector employees’ cultural competence;
support the growth of diverse and inclusive public sector workplaces, and;
improve service delivery and interactions between the public sector and community members.
The objective is to create a generic and centralised programme that is easily adaptable to the needs of all agencies. We envision the Programme would utilise and build on existing resources.
