The Construction Procurement Guidance provides standards of good practice for public sector agencies on specific aspects of the construction procurement process.

The guidance aims to modernise the Government’s approach to construction procurement to align with good international practice and deliver value to New Zealanders. It encourages government agencies to take a strategic approach early in the planning of construction procurement.

New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) published the first version of the guidance in November 2015. Now, we are taking the opportunity to review the effectiveness of the guidance and consider any changes that should be made.
