On the 29th of April, Immigration Minister Michael Woodhouse, announced the establishment of the Government’s newest immigration initiative, a policy for Global Impact Visas (GIVs). This policy has been designed to attract talented and innovative entrepreneurs and start-up teams who could have a significant impact on New Zealand’s innovation sector but who may not otherwise qualify for residence.
Immigration New Zealand (INZ) is seeking to establish a mutually beneficial partnership to pilot GIVs. INZ is looking for a partner with expertise in working with innovative entrepreneurs and, wide national and international networks. Our partner will use their expertise and networks to attract migrant entrepreneurs who have the drive and capabilities to create and support innovation-based ventures in New Zealand and its regions, and provide them with the right support to operate effectively within the New Zealand business environment.
