Advance Notice of the release of an RFP for a Grants and Investments Fund Management Software Solution
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and Callaghan Innovation are planning to replace their existing Investment Management System (IMS). The replacement solution is expected to have the capability to support the end-to-end processing and management of grants and investment funds, such as the Science Investment funding round.
MBIE and Callaghan Innovation have formed a closed syndicate of government agencies with a similar requirement for a grants and investment funds management software solution. The procurement process will be led by MBIE on behalf of the syndicate. Syndicate members will have the option to take up the selected solution at a time and date of their choosing.
The RFP will be open to a range of solution options, including cloud, as-a-service and on premise implementations.
MBIE expects to release the RFP to the open market in late January/early February 2016.
