The Electrical and Building Occupational Licensing Team (EBOLT) is part of the Consumer Protection and Standards Branch within the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and carries out the function of registration and licensing of electrical workers for the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). It is a function of the EWRB to ensure electrical workers are audited on an annual basis.

We are seeking a national Supplier to initiate the design and implementation of a pilot electrical workers audit programme (the Pilot) with the outcome being an appropriate and effective audit programme that meets the requirements set out in the EWRB Audit Framework (the Framework - a copy of which is attached) which has been established to increase the safety, competency and compliance of electrical workers and the prescribed electrical work (PEW) they carry out.
