Overview
This RFT is for the supply of new steel bridge spans for Bridge 202 on the Main South Line 60km north of Dunedin at the small eastern seaside settlement of Karitane off SH1.
Bridge 202 MSL spans the Waikouaiti River. It is located on the Main South Line approximately 50km north of Dunedin. The existing structure is approximately 147m long and consists of:
• 19 spans (7 iron, 12 steel)
• 20 timber piers
• Positioned on straight track geometry
