KiwiRail issues this RFT through the Capital Projects and Asset Development (CPAD), iREX Programme to identify contractors with the capacity and capability of tendering for the iREX Waitohi Picton Terminal Marine and Structures package and/or Civil works packages of work as part of the Redevelopment of Picton Ferry Terminal site, based in Picton, New Zealand.

KiwiRail calling for construction partners to join iReX project:
KiwiRail is looking for the best construction partners to work alongside us on the exciting and challenging iReX programme. This $1.45 billion dollars of works includes buying two new rail enabled ferries and building two new terminals at Waitohi Picton and Kaiwharawhara Wellington. iReX will be an incredible project to work on – a unique construction and engineering project and the only project in Aotearoa New Zealand working across marine and land environments, civil and virtual engineering, rail and road. We’re ready to go and now we’re shifting into delivery mode to get our construction partners on board.
