KiwiRail wish to notify suppliers of the upcoming Market Engagement on the Proposed the Redevelopment of Hillside Project.
Market engagement will inform options for procurement for the Project but is separate from the procurement process. Participation is voluntary and will not affect suppliers’ eligibility to participate in a subsequent procurement process for the services.
Objectives
The objectives for the Market Engagement Process are to:
1. Provide the market with an overview of the Project.
2. Understand the market’s appetite and capacity to respond to the opportunity, including key risk areas and risk allocation.
3. Inform KiwiRail’s decision making on the procurement strategy for the Project.

Treatment of information
KiwiRail will treat all information provided during the market engagement process as commercial-in-confidence. All feedback provided will be reported on an aggregated and unattributed basis.
