KiwiRail, supported by Auckland Transport (AT), is looking to engage primary suppliers who will partner with them to deliver the main civil physical works as part of the Rail Network Growth Impact Management (RNGIM) programme. These suppliers will demonstrate a highly collaborative culture, agile systems, personnel and other resources. Innovation is highly prized, especially in helping KiwiRail find ways to deliver RNGIM within a tight three (3) year timeframe, i.e. “deliver more in less time”. Suppliers may be either from a single company, or from a lead contractor in a joint venture with other contractors.

KiwiRail is seeking contracting team(s) who have a demonstrated track record in working well together, strong collaborative cultures working with clients and stakeholders to successfully deliver civil works packages for horizontal civil infrastructure. In addition the contracting team(s) will have robust company systems to plan and manage resources, and generally flat organisational structures that encourage agility and quick decisions.

This includes demonstrating a commitment to Zero Harm and prioritising sustainability outcomes, while taking into account whole of life costs and the potential adverse impacts of both construction and operations.
Tender Process
This EOI is an open process and all suppliers are invited to participate in this EOI stage. This EOI process is intended to ascertain and shortlist suppliers capable of responding to an in-depth Request of Proposal (RFP) process to select the preferred supplier(s) for this contract.
Suppliers that do not engage in this EOI process will not be able to submit a response to the RFP for this contract.

1) EOI in GETS: Response deadline: Thursday, 29 April 2021, 5:00 p.m.
2) RFP to shortlisted Respondents TBC
