KiwiRail is developing several new passenger trains for various rail services. The end clients for these rail services are looking for greater passenger capacity, improved level of comfort and interoperability than the existing seating options available to KiwiRail. Initial seating requirements are for 468 seats - refer to the RFT for further information.
