Overview
KiwiRail require a capable delivery partner to construct the final section of double track main line between Trentham and Upper Hutt to realise additional operational capacity in the Wellington Metro Rail Network.
The project will include the construction of 2.7km of main line, two new station platforms, new station shelters to three platforms, a pedestrian underpass, upgrades to existing station platforms, level crossing upgrades, integration with signals renewals, integration with traction renewal, and upgrades to the Upper Hutt Station area.
The work is being delivered through a fully BIM enabled project, as part of KiwiRail’s wider BIM pilot.
