The purpose of this EOI process is to invite interested parties to register their interest in providing the materials and resources to build new, refurbished, strengthened, and upgraded mechanical facilities at Middleton Rail Depot in Christchurch.

KiwiRail will require the following services at Middleton Rail Depot, Christchurch, from the successful contractor:

a) The construction of a new Locomotive manual wash facility including building, and bogie wash;
b) The construction of water treatment facilities, including interceptor;
c) Building services upgrades, including external lighting, and power;
d) Site works and drainage; and
e) Security upgrades, including fencing and site access.

The following are the services required in respect of the construction of the Mechanical Facilities, Middleton Rail Depot, Christchurch:

a) The supply of resources and materials to complete construction of the new, upgraded, strengthened and refurbished Middleton Mechanical facilities
b) The on site management to complete the work within the timeframe required.
