Kapiti Coast District Council (KCDC) Laboratory is currently a 'Level 2' Ministry of Health Drinking Water Testing Laboratory. The aim of this project is to revise and update the Laboratory's Policy and Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents to New Zealand Standards "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" NZS ISO/IEC 17025:2018 so that the Laboratory gains "Full" IANZ accreditation in 2022.
The scope of the project includes:
- updating all of the Laboratories current "Level 2" Ministry of Health Drinking Water Testing Laboratory documentation to the IANZ scopes, Biological, Chemical and Drinking Water following the 17025:2018 format using the 17025 templates to be provided, in coordination with the Laboratory Manager.
- Performing "Gap" analysis on all of the Laboratory's documentation and help with any areas that are not addressed / missing to ensure the Laboratory gains "Full" IANZ accreditation status.
The required timeframe for delivery is:
- A rough DRAFT to be completed by end-January 2022
- With the final DRAFT prior to the Pre IANZ-Audit Check by beginning-March 2022
- A pre-IANZ Audit will occur in April 2021
- The IANZ Audit will be conducted in June 2022.
We are seeking suppliers that have the capability and capacity to meet the Laboratories deadlines. Extensive knowledge of the Laboratory IANZ accreditation process and documentation is required.
