Hamilton City Council is planning a future procurement for Traffic Counting Services, supporting the delivery of the city’s annual tube count programme and associated quality assurance activities.
Council is progressing a strategic initiative to become an industry leader in traffic counting and estimation. As part of this programme, we have refined internal processes and engaged specialist expertise to develop a new count framework and to manage the REG Traffic Count Estimation tool. The forthcoming procurement seeks a supplier with proven capability and resilience to deliver high quality traffic count data beginning in the 2026/27 counting season.
