This project will provide additional all-weather capacity on Fields 3 and 4 and support reliable, year-round community participation.<br><br>The successful contractor will deliver an integrated design-and-build solution covering design coordination, earthworks, drainage and stormwater management, pavement construction, synthetic turf, permitted natural infill, shockpads, fencing, gates, accessways and associated civil, electrical and landscape works. The work also includes independent testing, certification, commissioning, rectification, warranties, asset information, operation and maintenance documentation, training and handover.<br><br>Council is seeking a safe, operational and maintainable facility with strong whole-of-life performance. Respondents must demonstrate relevant specialist experience, programme certainty, effective management of interfaces with park users and neighbouring properties, practical environmental controls, clear risk management, and measurable Economic Benefit and Local Participation.<br><br>Council will not accept proposals limited to an individual turf component or which do not address the complete design-and-build solution. SBR, EPDM, TPE and other prohibited polymeric performance infills will not be accepted. Physical construction must be completed before the period reserved for testing, certification, required rectification, completion documentation and handover.<br><br>The contract is expected to be based on NZS 3916.
