Overview

This Request for Tender (RFT) invites suppliers to provide a tender to renew the lift systems across multiple Hamilton City Council owned sites. This project aims modernize the existing lifts which has reached their end of live and to ensuring it meets modern standards and serves the buildings effectively “HCC Lift Renewal Programme” (the “Project”). The RFT has been split into three Contracts:
A – HCC Municipal Building located at 260 Anglesea Street, Hamilton 0
B – FMG Stadium located at Gate 5, 128 Seddon Road, Hamilton.
C – Rotokauri Transport Centre located at Kiriwai Kaui Drive, Hamilton.

The intention is to give suppliers flexibility in which sites they provide a response to, be it one, two
or all sites.

What we need:
The Council is seeking a qualified supplier to design, supply, and install new lift systems to replace existing units across multiple Council sites, with work scheduled to commence in early 2026. The Council reserves the right to appoint suppliers based on site-specific requirements, which may result in the engagement of different suppliers for different locations.
We are looking for best value-for-money over the whole of the lift life cycle of 20 to 25 years.
It’s important that the supplier has capacity to provide personnel who can work shifts during the installation period at some sites, to reduce installation timeframes and/or minimize disruption to business as usual at the site.
